We tested the demarini evo ax on 8-11-2007. We tested the ax in a 28oz. on a 300 foot field. The demarini ax is one of the very best asa bats in softball. If you prefer the feel of a balanced bat over an end loaded bat then it is a great choice. The bat works especially well for base hitting and opposite field hitting because of it's balanced swing weight and it also has no problem putting the ball over a 300 foot fence. ADD THE BAT BREAK IN SERVICE - $20

Don't have the time or resources to break in your bat before your first game, then let the professionals do it for you. We will break in your bat by hitting 100 softballs that are pitched from a pitching machine. The balls will be pitched at regular slowpitch speed with an arc of 6 to 8 feet. We will rotate the bat 1/4 inch turn after every hit so the entire barrel breaks in evenly. The factory shrink wrap paper will be left on the bat during the break in process. This will not void your warranty like rolling your bat in a machine would. For slowpitch and fastpitch softball bats the softball used will be a 12 inch Dudley Thunder 44 core 400 compression.

For baseball bats the ball used will be the Rawlings Senior Little League Leather Baseballs.

This is a natural break in process which we have been told by all the bat companies whose bats that we sell that they have no problem with this process and that it will not void your warranty with them like Rolling a bat would.

The $20 fee is for just 1 bat. If you order more then 1 bat at a time then you will need to make sure to adjust the quanity to match how many bats you have in the order.

This service is only for brand new bats bought directly from Roll 2 Sports. We will not allow you to send in a bat that you bought somewhere else for this service.
